Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of www.firstavenue.net.au and the purchase of any goods from it. 

Please note; that by accessing, using or browsing our website you agree to be bound by its terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability ("Terms and Conditions"). First Avenue reserves the right to change or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without providing notice. By using the website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

Privacy Policy

First Avenue will not provide any details or information, which you give us to any other organisation or individual without your express permission or legal compulsion such as a Court order. We will comply with the Federal Privacy Commissioner's prevailing Privacy Principals in all respects, and in particular will not misuse your personal information for marketing purposes.

Product Information

All prices displayed are in Australian Dollars and where applicable, GST is included in the price.

Prices of products and other charges displayed are current at the time of display. These prices are subject to variation without notice.

We do our best to provide accurate descriptions and photographs of the products on our website, however if you think a product has been inaccurately represented, please contact us so the situation can be remedied at our agreement.

Payment

All purchases will be transacted in Australian Dollars, inclusive of GST where applicable.

We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express and all are processed via the SecurePay PCI DSS Compliant Payment Gateway 

If you would prefer to pay by credit card over the phone, please call the store during opening hours, and we will process your order.

You will receive a confirmation via email upon the completion of your order and a Tax Invoice will be included in your parcel. If you do not wish to have an invoice included in the parcel, please leave us a note in the "Shipping Instructions" section when checking out. A Tax Invoice will then be emailed instead.

Processing

Most online orders placed before 12noon are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 12noon or outside our store opening hours, are usually processed the following working day. If we are unable to process your order within three days of receiving payment we will contact you via email to make alternative arrangements. You will receive an instant email confirmation of your order and a shipping confirmation email, once the order has been dispatched.

Although we aim to keep the information on our website as up-to-date and accurate as possible, we cannot guarantee that a product listed on the website will be available. If for some reason a product you have purchased is not available for immediate processing, we will contact you via email with the revised delivery time and you will receive a prompt refund, should you then wish to cancel your order.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately on +61 8 9257 1660. If the order has not been shipped, cancellation and a full refund will occur, however once the order has been shipped, we will revert to our returns policy.

Loyalty Program

By registering for our Loyalty Membership Program, you agree to these terms and conditions. First Avenue reserves the right to change or update the Loyalty Program without providing notice. The program is only available to customers purchasing in-store and who have an active email address. All purchases must be made by the Loyalty Member. Some product lines may not be eligible to earn points toward the required thresholds and eligibility of products purchased counting toward this threshold, will be at the discretion of First Avenue management. However, these items will normally only be restricted on discounted or sale items, cookware, electrical items, food, some furniture and Gift Vouchers. Once the appropriate threshold has been reached a $50 Reward Voucher will be emailed to the account holder's recorded address. Vouchers are valid for three months from the date of issue. VIP Club status can be maintained by account activity which requires a purchase at least once every six months or VIP Club membership will revert to standard Loyalty Membership Status and its higher point’s threshold requirement.
